Well I got hooked in 2004 flying mainly small Estes rockets at the local park while I knew of the local club PARC it took me some time to join up and start flying with them finally in 2006 I joined but I noticed very quickly that the club needed to move forward as it had lost its way so at the next PARC AGM I put my hand up for secretary I was voted in as the new secretary in November 2006 from there I began to update all files and information within the club PARC had a membership of just 7 to 9 members in 2006 with the changes put in place PARC now in 2009 has some 40 odd members.
In 2008 along with Maurice Laffin I helped restart the ARA and using the knowledge from revamping PARC applied it to the ARA which now enjoys the position of the largest rocketry club in Australia I also went out and found very good insurance coverage for the members.
I was the first person to fly a redline motor in Western Australia and the new Mojave green motors I also was the first to fly a J size motor in Western Australia and the first Level 2 and Level 3 cert done in Western Australia,I have built over 55 model and High Power Rockets over the years with more to come.
I started WRL Rocketry because of the lack of competition in the Australian market place many of the products we sell are instock ready to ship while on some products we do bulk pre orders to save you the customer money.
