Tiny Pterodactyl

!
Larger picture
A new generation of Pterodactyls is born! Like it’s parent the mighty Pterodactyl and sibling Pterodactyl Jr., the Tiny Pterodactyl was born to fly. Use an F motor for slow, graceful flights or pack it with a G motor for real excitement. We’ve even flown the Tiny Pterodactyl on an H-238 and amazed the crowd with a neck snapping transonic flight!*

* Nose weight was added to keep the CG forward of the CP during this flight. Some rocketeers like to keep two nosecones on hand: one weighted for higher power motors and a standard one for lower power flights.

Comes with an 18" chute, QT airframe, piston system, decal, and 0.062 G-10 fins.

Pterodactyl, Jr.

!

The Pterodactyl, Jr., an offspring of the mighty Pterodactyl, is half the size and just as eager to fly.

With its 38mm motor mount, the Pterodactyl, Jr. can soar to great heights using Easy Access motors. Comes with a 36" chute, decals, and 0.062 G-10 fins.

Quantum Leap II

!
Larger picture
PML`s "quantum mechanics" have continued to improve one of rocketry`s favorite two-stagers, the Quantum Leap. The new Quantum Leap II, now with the new Interstage 3000 staging adapter system, is a completely modular two stage rocket. Once you assemble the four basic components, you can combine them to make any of five rocket combinations and can change to any configuration in minutes. The new Interstage 3000 system is much easier to prep and use than the previous interstage coupler design, and is identical in design to the IS3000 used in the Terrier booster stage for our MiniBBX. The IS3000 comes complete with timer mounts and remote safety switch.

This 2-stage rocket kit is intended for the experienced HPR scratch builder intending to supply his/her own electronic parachute deployment system into the sustainer stage. We strongly urge you not to fly this kit without an electronic parachute deployment system installed into the sustainer stage. Failure to do so will allow the sustainer stage to fall to earth without recovery deployment if the sustainer motor fails to ignite. If you are unsure about designing and installing your own electronic parachute deployment system, consider buying the Quantum Leap 3000 kit, which contains the electronic deployment components (except altimeter) as standard. To purchase a Quantum Leap 3000 kit already equipped with the CPR3000 Dual-Deployment Recovery System,

NOTE: The following chart lists configurations of this kit that may be flown as it is received stock from PML. However, your addition of an electronic deployment system may/will make some of these configurations unavailable, depending upon the design of your system.

The AGM-600 is a large 6" version of our AGM-256 PitBull The AGM-600 PitBull comes complete with fiberglass nosecone and boattail. The 54mm motor mount can handle any motor up to about 30" long, and comes with a 72" `chute for motor-based recovery. Also included are 0.093" G10 fins, PML`s piston ejection system, and of course the attention to quality and detail that sets PML ahead of the pack!

The CPR-MAX Electronic Recovery System cannot be added to the AGM-600 without major modifications that make it unfeasible. Sorry.

The Bulldog is a great "semi-scale" representation of the famous Bullpup missile. The Bulldog comes standard with two great PML hand-laid fiberglass nosecones (with one converted to a pre-slotted boattail for an easy build, great looks, and super drag-reducing performance), a 54mm motor mount, 0.093" G-10 fins, and a 72" parachute. The `Dog can fly on motors from a J180 through a K700 stock! The Bulldog has the usual PML high quality features of a phenolic airframe, piston ejection system, tubular nylon shock cord, and more.
